MDSFA Girls Development Program

Sheridan Rainey, Aleesha Santos from U10-1 Maroon and Jasmin Gibson from U10-5’s have been selected for the MDSFA Girls Development Program which commenced on the 24th June 2009 and will run for 10 weeks as a skills based training session.

Goal Keeper Training

Goal keeper training will be on Wednesday nights between 7:30pm and 8:30pm. Anyone interested in participating should meet in font of the club house at 7:20.

Coach the Coach - at Lynwood

As a follow up to his Coach the Coach Seminar at Wests Leagues Club, Raul Blanco would like to invite all coaches in the Macarthur Association to attend either or both practical coaching sessions to be held at Lynwood Park.

The dates are 8th July for coaches of under 8’s through to under 12’s, and 22nd July for under 13’s through to under 18’s.

We will be meeting in the grandstand.

You will need to bring a note book and a pen and a warm jacket.

The sessions will begin at 6.45pm with an introduction of what will be covered over the night. At approximately 7.00pm Raul will move out onto the park and conduct his training session.

By 8.30pm the training session will be completed and Raul will move back up into the grandstand to talk about what he did and answer any questions the coaches may have.

At the completion of the night’s coaching a light supper will be served in the club house. So this can be catered for, we need to know approximate numbers.

Premier League

Our Premier League team will be playing at home this Sunday 5/07/09 against Narellan Rangers, Reserves start at 1pm and main game starts at 3pm Please come down and watch as we need all the support we can get.

DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

6-9yrs girls and boys 5.30pm – 7.00pm
10-14yr girls and boys 7.00pm – 8.30pm.

The program will be based on the FUNDIMENTALS of soccer.

Training

Could all coaches please be aware that even thou the grounds are open for training there are still areas that are effected by water damage.

Please don’t train in the goal mouths or any areas that are still damp

Hopefully by doing this we can preserve our grounds thru out the rest of the season.

RESCHEDULED MATCHES

Games from the weekend 6/6/09 and 7/6/09 will be slotted into the weekend of 4/7/09 and 5/7/09. Matches already set down for the weekend of 4/7 and 5/7 will be moved.

MINIS matches scheduled for 4/7/09 will be moved to SUNDAY 5/7 so minis will have a double header for this weekend.

All team managers will be contacted by the competition secretary this week to confirm the above details.

MDSFA School Holiday Camp

MDSFA will be running a school holiday camp this School Holidays

U/6 – U/10

U/11 – U/18

Mighty Mites Scholarship Program - Alyssa Odell U91’s.

Alyssa has been selected into The Mighty Mites Scholarship Program – a new Football NSW initiative aimed at developing the next generation of elite representative players. Alyssa will be part of an elite squad of 18 players made up of U/7 to U/9 girls and U/7 boys required to train twice a week. The program is free for those selected, with FNSW looking to film, document and report the player’s progress in order to provide clubs and associations accurate coaching plans for each year of development.

The Mighty Mites Scholarship Program will be coached by former Fulham Ladies and Australian School Girls representative Hayley Todd. Hayley has over six years of coaching experience to her name.
The program kicks off at Valentines Sports Park on 29th of April and will run through to October

We welcome all visitors to the Eschol Park Soccer Club website.

Here you will find information relating to the 2009 season, as well as activities and events planned by our club.

We are in our 27th year and will have approximatley 700 registered players, competing in over 50 teams in the Macarthur District Soccer Football Association (MDSFA).

There are currently 23 member clubs competing in the MDSFA.

We are a family oriented club, encouraging equal time on the field and fair play at all times.
